Q: What are the benefits of an InfoSheet web site:

Q: What would my web address (URL) look like without my own domain and why wouldn't I want one?

Registration for your own domain (www.yourdomain.com) is not terribly expensive anymore. It used to cost almost $100 for the domain name registration fees. It is now very cost effective - so much so that some businesses have multiple domain names all pointing to the same website. 

One problem with a domain is that many of the good ones are taken! For example, for our company The Byte Shop, byteshop.com was already taken a long time ago, and there was nothing else that really sounded right. That's when we started the InfoSheet service.

Q: What information would I want to provide online about my company?

Anything that describes your company and targets the people you are trying to reach. We can build a web site from any of the following sources. Content is important, so the more you can provide, the better.

Q: Do you track any kind of statistics?

Of course!  We track:

  • How many visits to your page
  • Count by day of the week
  • Count by domain
  • Count by hour of the day
  • Recent visitors

  • Referers - what did the visitor click on to get to your site

Q: What other services do you offer?

We are constantly expanding the services offered. As our service expands, you will see those services listed here.

Forms
Simple forms can be added to your page asking for feedback, or requests for product literature, etc. The results of this information are sent to you by e-mail allowing you to respond quickly to your visitor's request. To add a form for your visitors, there is a $50 setup fee, and no additional monthly fees!
 
Fax
What if you don't read your e-mail regularly or don't want to? With our e-mail to fax service, the form results can be sent directly to your fax machine! To add e-mail to fax service to your form, there is an additional $10/month fee.
 
Google Advertising
Have you ever seen the ads that appear if you do a Google search? Try this the next time you visit Google.com - do a search for something like "Ice Cream" and you will see the listings below for the various web sites which refer to ice cream. Now look on the right side of the page and you will see "Sponsored Links". These are companies who have paid to have their services listed here. The costs are very reasonable to setup and you set your own budget per month, say $50. Each time a visitor clicks on your link you are getting exposure - targeted to the keywords you choose to bring visitors to your site. Each click only costs a few cents (some keywords cost 50 cents or so). Contact us and we'll tell you more!
